What do all these women have in common? Well, besides being groundbreakers and extraordinarily accomplished, they are all modern day Renaissance Women. They have all made marks in a number of fields, not just the ones for which they are best known.

If you think about it, it is no surprise there are so many modern Renaissance Women. Women are naturally inclined toward a Renaissance personality. Whether by virtue of brain chemistry (there is greater communication between the right and left hemispheres in women’s brains) or by the realities of their gender  (they must often balance multiple skill sets as career women, mothers, home managers, caretakers, etc) they are already accustomed to keeping a multitude of balls in the air.
Given the greater opportunities that are opening up for women, many are making enormous strides in a multitude of arenas, spanning the arts, sciences and business (and even combining all three). Our book, RenWomen: What Modern Renaissance Women Have to Teach Us About Living Rich, Full Lives, is a celebration of these women, an exploration of the lessons these modern (and historical) polymaths have to teach us, and a call to arms to all women to follow their dreams, no matter how varied. So, move move over daVinci, the women are here! …And guess what?  They were there when you were around too – but more about that later!  Join us on this fascinating journey as we interview and explore these fascinating women and as our book RenWomen, comes together.
