Dale Griffiths Stamos is a professional playwright, poet, screenwriter, and producer; as well as a teacher, story consultant and editor. She is the recipient of multiple awards - including the Heideman, The Writer's Digest top ten winner (twice), The Jewel Box Theatre Prize, and an Emmy nomination. Her plays have been produced throughout the country. Her film work has been featured at a number of festivals, winning both audience and jury awards, and her poetry has been published in numerous journals and magazines. She occasionally dons a producer's hat through her company, Venice Sky Productions, producing or co-producing both theater and film projects. As a teacher and presenter, she holds a yearly workshop in story structure at the Santa Barbara Writers Conference and has spoken about writing to groups such as the Southern California Writers Association, the Writers Club, the Alliance of Los Angeles Playwrights, and Stage Day LA. Dale started out as a linguist, getting a masters degree in Romance Languages and Literatures, and she speaks French, Spanish, some Italian, and even a bit of Greek! A musician and songwriter as well, she plays keyboard and guitar.
Scott Griffiths has been building companies and directing successful brands for twenty years, including for Paul Mitchell (“Mitch for Men”), House of Blues, Crystal Cruises, Nokia and Vertu, just to name a few. He is the CEO and Founder of 18/8 Fine Men’s Salons - www.EighteenEight.com. He has led or was on the leadership team of twenty start-ups and early stage companies. After attending Chapman University, Mr. Griffiths graduated as a scholarship student from Art Center College of Design, where he later served as President of the Alumni Board. He also went on to pursue his MBA from the UCLA Anderson School. He is a past member of the Harvard Business School Association of Orange County, where he helped direct the marketing of the annual Entrepreneurs Conference for 12 years. He has served as marketing advisor to the UCLA Anderson Economic Forecast, taught at Chapman University Business School, and presently teaches at Pepperdine University Graziadio School of Business and Management. He also sits on the Board of Directors for the Surfing Heritage & Cultural Center. Scott is the co-author of five books published by Random House, Doubleday, and Little Brown. Two of his books – “Air Powered,” and “America’s Best Beers” were best sellers.
